Is a new independent recording label based out of Kingston, Jamaica & Merrickville, Ontario in Canada. KingsKrown President Richard Bennett a.k.a Principal Charlie Chaplin is dancehall ‘s greatest teacher in Jamaica, preforming for decades as a singer & DJ. Nicknamed after Charlie Chaplin for his comedic personality since childhood, his humorous nature equipped Charlie to lead the dancehall fraternity, guiding them toward a peaceful & entertaining period with clashes and lyrical battles. After an “education hiatus” through which he elevated and evolved, Principal Charlie Chaplin is prepared to be head of the dancehall classroom once again!

KingsKrown Music will be releasing a new body of work by Principal Charlie Chaplin that will inspire music lovers to revisit the living legend’s discography and take them down memory lane. Charlie’s music focuses on social and cultural themes and his fan base relies on the lyrical cleansing they receive from his positive, motivating words. Moving away from “slackness” back in the early days of his career Charlie maintains the same sentiment today that Dancehall needs to be cleaned up.

The label will be releasing new works from some great Reggae Legends in 2024. We’re also seeking to release and promote musical works from young talent and create avenues to help artist’s promote their brand.
